As an important part of our mission, education promotion, especially for children of school going age in a deprived part of the country such as ours, is given a lot of attention. Over the years, we received various kinds of support from friends and donors in the All Saints and St. James Parishes in Haverhill MA, and Mary, Queen of Apostles Parish in Salem MA, all in the U.S, and from Nordwalde and Engagement Global in Germany, from Manos Unidas in Spain, to enable us realize this mission.
In two outstation communities, Sankpala and Fufulso, with the above mentioned support, we have been able to build two basic schools up to the primary level. Both Holy Rosary School in Sankpala, and St. Gabriel School in Fufulso are up to the primary six, the last class before moving on to the Junior High level. This means that we now are ready to move on with the building of the Junior High Schools in both communities.
We appeal for support from you again, our friends and donors, to enable us undertake this final phase of providing the basic education for the children in these communities. Each three-unit classroom block, with an office and store, and a staff common hall, was estimated to will cost us about twenty five thousand U. S. dollars ($25,000) over a year ago when this campaign begun. With the high cost of things we might be looking at a little more increase, but will still go a long way if we can realize this amount. We need your support to raise this amount for the project.
You may visit our “Support Us” page on this site to assist us with your donation towards this project, or contact us via email, “firstname.lastname@example.org”; or “email@example.com” to find out what other options are available for you to send us your support.
We are most grateful to all of you for the marvelous cooperation and support in this mission.
